Steven M. Sand and Stephanie L. Bergwerff have announced their engagement.

The couple became engaged during a family cruise. The have a garden wedding planned for April 24, 2010 at the Martin Ranch.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and LeeAnn Bergwerff. Her siblings are Alex, Erick and Elysha. She is a 2008 graduate of Ripon Christian and is currently employed at Kmart as a manager.

The prospective groom is the son of Michael and Shanna Sand. His sisters are Chasity and Sabrina. He is a graduate of Valley Charter in Modesto and currently works on the family dairy.
