A boy, Trevin William Davies, was born Oct. 1, 2010 to expectant parents Chad Davies and Alisha Merrill of Modesto. The newborn weighed six pounds, two ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Natalie and Tyler.

Maternal grandparents reside in Modesto.

Paternal grandparents reside in Oakdale.
