Jeffrey and Shelly Wilbanks of Oakdale welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Sophia Pinney Wilbanks, on May 8, 2011. The newborn weighed seven pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Shelly Brown.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older sibling Elijah Wilbanks.

Monte and Joyce Brown of Hughson are the maternal grandparents.

John and Jeanne Wilbanks of Pismo are paternal grandparents.
