A girl, Madison America Leal, was born December 22, 2009 to expectant parents Hugo Leal and Laci Parker of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, eight ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Emily and Hailey Leal.
Greg and Sandy Parker of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
Salvador and Virgina Leal-Quintana of Oakdale are paternal grandparents.
