Juan and Kirsten Ortiz of Riverbank welcomed the arrival of their son, Andres James Ortiz, on Sept. 10, 2011. The newborn weighed nine pounds, five ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
The mother is the former Kirsten Hopson.
James and Denise Hopson of Valley, Washington are the maternal grandparents.
Susanna Guitierrez of Mexico is the paternal grandmother.
