Expectant parents, Joel and Rachel Lindsey of Oakdale, welcomed the arrival of their baby girl, Amaya Anne Lindsey, on Feb. 15, 2011. The newborn weighed eight pounds, seven ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Rachel Kimball.

Thomas and Annette Kimball of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.

Joel Lindsey of Oakdale and Eric and Michelle Hegdahl of Reno, Nevada are the paternal grandparents.
