Water Polo's Regular Season Comes To Close

The Oakdale varsity water polo boys not only recognized their senior players in their home finale against Ripon, they also took the league title with an 8-4 win. Seniors honored were Ethan Perry, Spencer Ruthman, Chandler Neal, Stash Perry. The boys were coached by first-year coach Savannah Martin and now host an opening round playoff game on Friday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Oakdale Aquatic Center. They will face Dixon in DIII play.

The varsity Lady Mustangs, meanwhile, played their final water polo game of the season this past week, falling by an 11-3 final to Ripon. Oakdale got tallies from Hannah Lee, Alyssa Castano and Logan Nord in the loss. They also recognized their senior players, Jensen Perry, Alyssa Castano, Sydney Ballantyne and Kelli-Lyn Roche. The team was led this season by first year head coach Megan Tackett.
