Oakdale freshman player Paige Kerr, 11, gets in position to set the ball during non-league play in Oakdale, hosting the Lady Cougars of Escalon. The contest was Thursday, Sept. 8 and all three levels of Mustang volleyball fell to the visitors. The freshman and JV squads went down in straight sets while the Oakdale varsity battled the Escalon girls but ultimately took a 15-25, 19-25, 25-22, 22-25 loss.
