Oakdale swimmers completed their season with a strong showing, with five relay teams and one individual qualifying for the Section finals. Head coach Ron Thompson said swimmer Ashlynn See represented Oakdale in the 100 yard freestyle finals, performing well, breaking an eight-year-old OHS school record. “The old record was set by Summer Thompson in 2014 at a time of 54.94. The new record is now by Ashlynn See at a time of 54.13,” Thompson explained. “Sections went really well … the kids finished off the season spectacularly and better than I had hoped for.”
