It is that time of the year, Oakdale Wrestling Club will be conducting sign-ups for their youth wrestling program. The season begins on Tuesday, Nov. 1 and it is not too late to sign up. Practices are held three days a week Tuesday through Thursday. Practice for wrestlers in first and second grade will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oakdale Junior High School. First year wrestlers that are in the third and fourth grade, will wrestle with the first and second grade grapplers.

Experienced wrestlers in the third through sixth grades will practice at Oakdale High School Tuesday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wrestlers that are in the third and fourth grade who have a minimum of one year wrestling experience will compete at this level.

Wrestlers that are in the seventh and eighth grade will begin practice on Nov. 1 at Oakdale Junior High School beginning at 2:45 p.m.

Cost for each wrestler is $150 and this will cover membership, membership card, shorts and T-shirt. Each wrestler will be responsible for fundraising and parent volunteer shift. Fundraising and volunteer information will be available at sign-ups. Warm ups and singlets will be available to purchase as well. Late sign-ups will be conducted on Nov. 1 at Oakdale High School classroom N-1 from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information email oakdalewrestling@gmail.com.
