The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is about ready to make its highly anticipated return to the area. On Saturday, Aug. 6 the WWE will be at the Stockton Arena for the WWE Live Summerslam Tour.

Despite a resent roster split between both RAW and Smackdown, wrestlers from both shows are scheduled to be in action. Superstars scheduled to appear include WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte and United States Champion Rusev (card subject to change). Also slated to appear are fan favorites Roman Reigns, John Cena, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and Kevin Owens.

WWE’s annual pay-per-view sensation Summerslam has been a tradition for wrestling fans since its inaugural event in 1988. The Heatwave Tour in Stockton will get fans ready for the annual summer extravaganza set for Sunday, Aug. 21.
