Incoming Oakdale High junior Shelby Stender can add more accolade onto her already terrific prep career.

According to OHS coach Diane Kline, the talented water polo player was designated for fifth team selection as a high school All American, in recognition for her darling sophomore season in the pool.

Stender has enjoyed treks to the Sac-Jaoquin Section Division II title game in both of her prep seasons, and led the Mustangs in goals scored a year ago.
