Families, friends and fans of Oakdale High School football gathered at the OHS gym on Monday night Jan. 19 to watch players from all three teams receive end of the season awards. Memories of the season where brought back to life including the freshman boys perfect season; the aches and injuries that lingered for the junior varsity boys; the varsity team’s Section title and playoff run; and even the story of when varsity player Mike Norris ran from Escalon to The Corral for a practice in August because his transportation fell through.
