The Oakdale High School Mustangs baseball teams hosted a baseball clinic for young players this past week. An estimated 70 youth baseball players from the ages of 9- to 14-years-old took part in the two day clinic staged at the OHS varsity Mustang baseball field. Members of all three high school baseball teams volunteered to help the youngsters prior to the Oakdale Baseball Softball Association (OBSA) season start.

Coaches and players from OHS helped kids with hitting, pitching, catching, base running, fielding, and team defense during the two days of instruction that began on Tuesday, Feb. 16 while school was out for mid-winter break.

“It is important to help the youth out whenever we can,” OHS varsity head coach Nate Gregory said.
