Troy Lerwill is no stranger to the rodeo, but he is making his first Grand Stand appearance as the Rodeo Clown at the 2018 Sacramento County Fair during the Stars and Stripes Invitational Bull Riding Event. Lerwill is a six-time Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Clown of the Year, a rodeo bullfighter, and barrel man that will be bringing his daredevil antics to Fairgoers this Memorial Day weekend.

Lerwill grew up with rodeo in his blood as his father, Lynn, was a team roper, and his mother, Penny, is a former rodeo queen. From Rodeo Clown tricks to motorcycle stunts, audience members will be left in awe of his action-packed rodeo act. Fans will also be thoroughly entertained with the appearance of a special guest, “The Wild Child!”

Pam Fyock, CEO of the Sacramento County Fair, stated, “We can’t host the Stars and Stripes Bull Riding Invitational without a proper rodeo clown and barrel man! We knew Troy would be just the man we needed for the show. He provides plenty of comedic relief and is a true professional when it comes to providing distraction and protection for the riders.”

You can catch Troy Lerwill at the Stars & Stripes Invitational Bull Riding event at the Sacramento County Fair on Saturday, May 26. After the Bull Riding event is over, be sure to stick around and enjoy all of the wonderful excitement that the Fair has to offer. Join over 100,000 guests and experience more than 30 carnival rides, dozens of free exhibits, musical guests, and activities all Memorial Day Weekend.
