Oakdale hosted a multi-team meet on Thursday at The Corral, with runners, jumpers, throwers and hurdlers are getting the chance to work on their individual events and see how they measure up against athletes from such schools as Linden, Grace Davis and Escalon. Top photo, Oakdale and Escalon girls take off in a heat of the 100 while, at side, sophomore pole vaulter Justin Carlos clears the bar early in the competition. Voice of the Mustangs, Pete Simoncini, kept the crowd informed of the various events and results throughout the afternoon.
