Six Oakdale High students extended their Winter sports season into March by claiming advancements from the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Championships to the state meet.

Nico Colunga, Trevor Williams, Ronnie Stevens, Max Stevens, Zack Fallentine and Eric Barragan all nabbed top-seven medals at Masters to punch tickets to Bakersfield and the first day of the CIF Championships on March 1. The group of standouts earns collective Athlete of the Week recognition from The Leader for their efforts.
