The 11 Valley Oak League individual titles won by members of Oakdale High’s wrestling program on Saturday, Feb. 9 set a school and conference record at Tracy’s Kimball High.

The Mustangs also sent all 14 grapplers to the next stage of the postseason, where 11 had fantastic seeds and a great shot at moving on to the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters tournament, coming up later this month.

The team earns Athlete of the Week recognition from The Leader for their historic romp through the league tourney.
