Longtime Oakdale High setter Jackee Lee of the varsity volleyball team and current Lady Mustangs senior is playing the best volleyball of her career. Just one game after pulling up an impressive 24 digs against Sonora, Lee added big assists, serves and even kills to land back-to-back wins over Lathrop and Sierra.
Lee earns Athlete of the Week honors from The Leader for her big plays on a volleyball team poised for a postseason appearance.
She had 24 assists, five digs, six service points and six kills in a win over Lathrop, adding 17 points with 37 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 victory against Sierra.
With Lee handling setter duties for Oakdale, the Lady Mustangs should be primed for a deep postseason run in her final prep season at the net.
