For the third consecutive season, the Oakdale girls are perfect in the pool.

The Lady Mustangs water polo team eased past second-place Sonora 9-5 on Oct. 24 to cap a perfect season in the Valley Oak League arena. The win will propel the Mustangs into a likely top-three seed in the SJS playoffs.

It also marks the third straight season that the Oakdale girls have ended conference play with a perfect record against league opponents. The team and coaches earn collective Athlete of the Week recognition from The Leader for continuing the run of outstanding accomplishments
