Michael and Maureen McKibban have returned from cruising down the Danube River. The highlight was the night ride on the Danube in Budapest, Germany, with all the buildings and bridges lit up. They did that again in the day to see the architecture of the bridges. There were Mozart and Strauss concerts and they ate lunch at the oldest German eatery, (1370), where they had sauerkraut and sausages and rolls. Maureen and Michael were impressed with the old church Abby that grew apricots to keep the Abby going. In one church there was an organ concert on an organ with five sets of pipes, hooked together and played by one organist. Everything was coated in gold Maureen said. The cruise line was a small river ship with all adults. On one stop the McKibbans had a room with a balcony over the street and it was fun just watching the people. The cobblestone streets were hard on the feet. It was a beautiful trip.
