Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Riverbank Lions Club, I wanted to thank all those responsible for putting on the recent Children’s Health and Safety Fair at the Galaxy Theater center on Saturday, July 28. The Riverbank Lions were honored to participate with our “Eyemobile” which serves as a mobile vision and hearing check-up unit. From 8 a.m. to noon, our organization along with help from Stanislaus State nursing students and the Oakdale Lions Club were able to perform basic health checks on over 65 individuals.

The Riverbank Lions wish to thank the City of Riverbank, Stanislaus State Nursing Program, Oakdale Lions Club, and especially Dr. Tom Mihok, O.D. for their contributions in making this event an incredible success.
