Dear Editor,
I would like to first thank the Oakdale Leader for their full page story about Oakdale Golf and Country Club and thank Ike Dodson personally for his article. As the general manager of OGCC, I sometimes forget what a privilege it is to work at such a beautiful course and to be able to play it whenever I basically want to. So, it’s stories about days like Ike had, on our course, that makes my job so satisfying and worth all the hard work. Oakdale Golf and Country Club is such a wonderful club filled with fantastic members so I only hope that all golfers get a chance to play the course at some time in their life!
Secondly, I would like to also give co-authoring credit, for our 50th Anniversary Book, to Edie Boschetti who owns her own book writing company, LeStory Teller. Edie was gracious enough to donate all of her time spent writing and researching the book as a symbol of her love for the club and without her, the book would have never have happened!
