Dear Editor,

The Stanislaus County Hi 4-H just completed a very successful Milk Bar fundraiser at the Stanislaus County Fair. First, a big “thank you” to everyone who bought a milkshake to support us! All the way from those who have bought shakes for decades to those who tried their first one this year, thanks!

We would like to thank Terri, from Sysco. Her help with our daily orders and deliveries of milk, ice cream, and other supplies was awesome! Next is Doug, from Blue Bunny Ice Cream, with their delicious ice cream bars. Also, Mission Linens for towels and aprons, we needed them! We can’t forget the fair itself and fair maintenance, Randy and crew. And to Yosemite Farm Credit for their donation of cups.

A great big hug and thanks to all our 4-H managers, day chairs, volunteers and parents who showed up for their shifts.

But, the best for last: to Tom and Irene Ulm, for being our advisors and Milk Bar coordinators for so many years. You will be missed!
