Dear Editor,

I wanted to say thank you to the entire community for helping make the first annual Oakdale Car Show a huge success. The community really came together and made the committee’s job easy, and with only nine weeks to pull this off, this was important. I wanted to extend a huge thank you to my fellow committee members, Bonnye and Gary Spray, Samantha and Cody Salbeck, Guy and Trina Berkey, Jeff Goshen, Bob Taylor, Bill Adams and my husband Jim Howard. Also the countless volunteers that showed up and helped do whatever was needed, which included everything from filling in squirrel holes to getting ice through-out the day, working the Pepsi booth, parking cars and picking up trash.

Thanks go to the sponsors who put up the money and services to get this event on the right track.
