Dear Editor,
There have been serious concerns for the safety of pedestrians in wheelchairs or motorized carts who must cross the highway to get to the Senior Center for lunch or other activities.
On behalf of our seniors, the Senior Commission would like to acknowledge all of the community-spirited citizens who worked so hard to provide the new sidewalk access at the corner of Yosemite Avenue and “A” Street.
This project is another example of Oakdale at its best!
