Dear Editor,

We need to get back to the basics — keeping our neighborhoods safe, spurring our local economy, and preserving the quality of life that makes Oakdale special.

More taxes aren’t the answer. Bigger government isn’t the answer.

As your next Mayor, I will take a different approach and work to energize citizens, civic groups and churches to find creative ways for everyone to be involved. I don’t have all the answers but together we do. In this time of economic crisis we need to work together.
