Zaida Cashman went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 26 2015. She was 94 years old. She was born in Pendleton, Oregon to Earl and Carol Zehrung. The family moved to Denair, CA when she was 9 years old. Zaida married Thomas Jeremiah Cashman in January of 1941. She was a long-time member of YLI and parishioner of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Oakdale. Zaida worked for Hershey’s for many years and was known as being the “Town’s Seamstress” for apparel stores in town. Zaida has 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Cashman; her daughter Carol Cashman. She leaves behind her son, Thomas M Cashman, and daughter Lynn V. Ferreira.
