Walter Gene Turnbow, 48, died Monday, June 14. He was born in Korea in 1961 and was raised in Oakdale.

He graduated from Oakdale High School in 1979. After graduating high school, he worked as a mechanic and later as an electrician for Blake Electric in Modesto. He enjoyed motorcycles and dirt bikes.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Turnbow of Oakdale; daughter Brittany Turnbow of Ceres; brother Wayne Turnbow and girlfriend Georgia Webster.

Private services will be held.
