Roberta Marie (Coon) Humphrey, 63, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014.
Born in Oakdale to William (Bob) Coon and Eulah Leigh Coon on Jan. 8, 1951, she was one of three daughters and spent most of her life in Riverbank. She attended Riverbank grammar school and was in the first class of graduates from Riverbank High School.
Mrs. Humphrey attended California Beauty College after completing high school. She also worked at Contadina Foods. She married Manuel Flores and together they were the parents of Lisa Flores. She later married Antonio Hernandez (now deceased) and they became parents to Antonio Hernandez. Her third husband, John Humphrey, died three years ago.
She was well known for her love of children and also loved animals.
Survivors include her two children, Lisa Flores of Modesto and Tony Hernandez of Seattle; sisters, Carolyn (Coon) Avila of Modesto, Judy (Coon) Riise of Oakdale; brother, Robert Coon of Riverbank; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
