Age 74, of Jefferson Hills, PA, formerly of Modesto, CA, Bob passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Beloved husband of 43 years to Bonnie Allison; father of R. Keith Allison, Francesca Allison Grant and James L. Allison; grandfather of William Bailey Grant, Isabella Marie Grant, Kensie Lynn Allison and Kayla Wren Allison; brother of Carol Lair; son of Priscilla Allison Franklin and the late James P. Allison. Bob served in the US Air Force from 1962-1966, he was a mechanic at Hershey Foods in Oakdale, CA from 1967-2007. Bob volunteered with Special Olympics for many years. He was Head Coach of the soccer team he founded with Stanislaus County Special Olympics from 1995-2006. Bob also enjoyed fishing, hunting, building and flying large model planes, golf and watching as many soccer games as he could.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Modesto Free Methodist Church at 12 Noon in Modesto, CA at the corner of Rose and Briggsmore. Inurnment in Lakewood Memorial Park.
