Nancy I. Griffin, 64, of Modesto died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014.
She was born in Texas and recently moved to Modesto from Turlock. She was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband Gary Griffin, Sr. of Turlock; children, Gary (Laura) Griffin, Jr. of Turlock and Denise (Jon) Van Leuvan of Livermore; siblings, Steven (Kari) Barnes of Valley Springs, David Barnes of Modesto, Linda (Lynn) Barnes of Modesto, Kathy (David) Lemons and Mary Howell, both of Oakdale; five grandchildren; and 16 nieces and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leland Barnes and Ethel Rush; stepfather, Orval Rush and two brothers.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 18 at the LDS Church in Livermore.
Burial was private.
