Mildred Irene Burns, 68, of Gustine died Wednesday, May 20 at Doctor’s Medical Center.
She was a native of Nevada City and lived in Gustine for 18 years.
Mrs. Burns worked as a ministerial assistant for Westside Christian Center in Gustine.
She was a member of Westside Christian Center and N.C.N.A.O.G. Women’s Ministries.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Nathan Burns of Gustine; children, Michael Burns of Dallas, TX, Andrew Burns of Charlotte, NC; brother Jim Frost of Modesto; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 28 at Bethel Church, 2361 Scenic Drive, Modesto. Private burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Oakdale.
