Michael Carrillo, 63 of Oakdale, CA passed away on January 18, 2018. He was deeply loved, he will be dearly missed and he will always be remembered.
Michael was a loving and proud father. He is survived by his daughters Amanda (Chris) Johnson of Manteca and Alexis Carrillo of Oakdale, brother Leo (Claudora) Carrillo of Oakdale, sister Ramona Ferraz of Manteca, niece Kristine (Ronnie) Helms, nephew Randal (Jannelle) Carrillo, nephew Mark (Michelle) Ferraz, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Michael was born to Abraham and Josephine (Miranda) Carrillo, July 30, 1954. He lived in Oakdale for most of his life. Michael attended school in Oakdale from elementary through high school, where he graduated from Oakdale High. Michael also attended Modesto Junior College. Michael worked locally in the surrounding area over 30 years, from International Paper Company in Turlock, General Mills in Lodi and Hershey’s in Oakdale, to name a few. Michael married and started a family. He had a love of both sports (playing all through school) and music. Michael’s children and his love of music were his passions. Michael played the drums and enjoyed playing with many local bands. He was excited when both his daughters showed interest in music playing various instruments, as he proudly attended their many concerts and recitals. Michael also enjoyed going fishing with many of his close friends and family. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Abraham and Josephine Carrillo.

Funeral Services for Michael will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Oakdale on Wednesday. February 7. Rosary begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. mass. Reception to follow at the parish center.
