Mary Ellen Parsons, 75, of Riverbank died Wednesday, July 21 at Oak Valley Hospital.

She was a native of New Hampshire and lived in Riverbank 10 years.

Ms. Parsons worked as a cook for various restaurants and organizations for 40 years.

She was a member of the Senior Center in Riverbank, a volunteer with Alley Cat Guardians, and VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Tracie O’Neal and Robert G. Davis, both of Oakdale; Richard Davis of Elk Grove; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
