Marvin Stanley Harrell, 76, passed on from this life Sunday, April 23, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. Marvin was born in Clinton, Oklahoma. He grew up and raised his own family in Oakdale, California. He worked locally at Con Agra for 40-plus years. He was a lover of life and loved his family and friends. Some may say that he never met a stranger. He was a kind hearted man who never made anyone question his love for them. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Marvin is survived by his loving “Honey” of 14 years Fay Caetano of Oakdale, California, his eldest son Doug (Kris) Harrell of Modesto, California, his sister Shirley Rose of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, his brother Jimmie Joe Harrell of Paris, Texas, his step-sons Ray (Shari) Vanwinkle of Modesto, California, and Stacy Vanwinkle of Modesto, California, his grandchildren Tiffany (Mark) Harrell of Modesto, California, Bryan (Sabrina) Sanderson of Modesto, California and Sarah (Jerome) and Janessa Rogers of Oakdale, California. He opened his home to many additional children and grandchildren and loved them all the same. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Flora Harrell, his loving wife of 45 years Karen Harrell and his youngest son Michael Harrell.
