Lawrence Edward Frisk, 81, of Waterford passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014.

He was born in Tulare to parents Lawrence and Nona Frisk and was a longtime resident in the Oakdale-Waterford area. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters and Refrigeration Union Local 442, was employed with Foster Farms. He also worked on Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Oakdale Family Church of the Nazarene where he did volunteer work and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sons, Bobby L. (Vickie) Frisk of Oakdale, L. Wayne Frisk of Waterford, and R. David (Sherri) Frisk of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren, Cheryl (Ralph) Aloisio of Oakdale, Jamie Frisk of Granite Bay, Randall Frisk of Brookings, OR, Jeremy (Bekah) Frisk of Crescent City, Misty (Jarime) Wilhelm of Elk Grove, Reuben (Shawna) Thissen of San Antonio, TX, Hannah (Shane) Wetterstrom of New Bern, NC, Sarah Thissen of La Mesa; and 16 great grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife DeLois P. Frisk, daughter Cheryl A. Frisk and brothers Ervan Frisk, Albert Frisk and Lester Frisk.

Visitation is Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 1:30 p.m.; both visitation and services will be at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hughson.
