Karen Lea Consoli, 55, died Sunday, Sept. 2 after a battle with cancer.

She was a lifelong resident of Oakdale.

Ms. Consoli made many friends during her career as a cosmetologist with Janet Adams at J&K Salon and will be missed by many friends and relatives.

She is survived by her mother, Anita Consoli; sisters, Jan Consoli, Jackie Durham, Amy (Rob) Vedder; brother, Eddie Consoli; five nieces and their spouses; one nephew; many grandnieces and grandnephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chet Consoli.

A benefit was held in her honor at the Cow Track Lounge on Sept. 8 and a celebration of life was held on Sept. 9 at her niece’s house.
