Joyce Dolan, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 18 after a long illness in Oakdale.

She was born in Checotah, Okla. and was a resident at Oak Valley Care Center.

She graduated from Oakdale High School in 1953.

Mrs. Dolan was a nurse. She attended Assembly of God church in Riverbank.

Her family thanks Oak Valley Care Center staff for the loving care they gave to her.

She is survived by her children, Tim Dolan of Hawaii, Robin Dolan of Oakdale; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dolan; son, Michael Dolan; and parents, Ebb and Audrey Kindred.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 830 West F St. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, also at the chapel. Place of interment will be Oakdale Citizens Cemetery, 701 East J St.

Oakdale-Riverbank Memorial Chapels in charge of arrangements.
