Joseph Akana ‘Butch’ Flores, 65, died Thursday, Feb. 14 of natural causes at home surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to the Bay Area as a young man. He came to live with his daughter and was an Oakdale resident for the past eight years.

Mr. Flores was an entrepreneur and owned-managed several night clubs from the ’70s to the late ’90s. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Roxanne (Razo) Simons; and grandchildren, Brennan Razo, Dane Hauskens Simons, and Kyle Hauskens Simons.

A service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at his daughter Roxanne’s home.
