Hilary Ann Arnold, 19, of Modesto died Friday, Jan. 29 in the early morning after being hit by a car. She was born on April 6, 1990 to Pamela Lowrey of Oakdale and Melvin Arnold of Eureka. She was raised in Oakdale.

Ms. Arnold lived every day to the fullest. She loved to spend her time taking photos, going on road trips, and had a passion for reading and music. She was loved by many and will be remembered.

She is survived by her sister, Melissa Arnold of Oakdale; grandparents, Joe and Carol Luke of Stockton, Ed and Linda Arnold of Eureka; uncles, Scott Luke, Todd Luke, David Hubbard, and Dave Walkley; aunts, Meg Walkley, Michele Hubbard, and Sandi Luke; cousins, Garrett Luke, Jon Walkley, Brad Luke, Mikey Walkley, Kyle Luke, and Matthew Hubbard.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at The Rivers Edge in Knights Ferry with a reception following at the Odd Fellows Hall. Flowers may be sent to the hall.
