Grace Marie (Miller) Olson, 83, died suddenly on Friday, Aug. 7.
She was born in Collinsville, OK to Herman and Louise Miller. She grew up in Valley Home and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1944.
Mrs. Olson retired shortly after the death of her husband in 2001. She worked for 61 years and retired as an insurance secretary from Agri-Center Insurance Agency of Fresno.
She liked to travel, cruise, read, shop, wine taste and hang out in Mexico and Shaver Lake. Most of all, she loved to be with her friends and family. She was devoted to her daughter, they were truly “best pals.”
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela; many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald.
A graveside service was held Aug. 14 at Belmont Memorial Park, followed by celebration of life at the Fresno Masonic Center, Fresno.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Break The Barriers, 8555 No. Cedar, Fresno or the Fresno Scottish Rite Childhood Language Disorders Center, 1455 “L” St., Fresno.
