Grace F. Shelley, 84, died Tuesday, April 15 of cardio respiratory arrest in Modesto.

She was born in Manchester, England.

She was a resident of Escalon for the past four years.

She was a nurse.

She belonged to the Anglican church.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Fordyce (Tina) Shelley of Escalon; sister, Constance Rostron of England; grandchildren, Elizabeth Dorothy, Griffin David; cousin: Gabrielle Hawksworth and family of England; nephew, Dr. Howard (Jill) Miller of Manteca; nieces, Wendy Olson, Linda Atchison of France, Christine Chepurny of Canada; great nieces, Laura Williams, Kathryn Garrison; Tiffany, Sophie; great nephews Travis, Mark, Greggory; and many long-time family friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Shelley; son, David William Shelley; and parents, Alfred Ravenscroft and Millicent Anne Ravenscroft of England.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 at St. Matthias Anglican Church, Oakdale.

Place of interment will be Burwood Cemetery on River Road, Escalon.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the City of Escalon Animal Shelter for veterinary services or to a charity of your choice.
