Gloria Jean Tassinari, 71, wife of Richard Tassinari, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023. She was a resident of Waterford and a prior resident of Oakdale from 1986 to 2006. She was born July 3, 1951 in Santa Maria, CA. She graduated from University of Pacific, Stockton, in 1975.

She was employed as the office manager for the Tassinari Agency’s Allstate Insurance office in Oakdale from 2000 to 2015. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, hiking, and bird watching. She also taught Catechism at St. Mary’s Church and substitute taught in Oakdale Elementary Schools.

She is survived by her husband Richard, two daughters Jacquelyn Harris of Waterford, Kristin Soria of Portland, Oregon, two step-daughters Amie Andre of Fort Collins, Colorado, Kelly Tassinari of St. Johnsville, New York, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson at 10 a.m. on January 23. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
