Geraldine ‘Jerry’ Rucker, 85, died Wednesday, Aug. 12.

She was born May 26, 1924 and was a resident of Oakdale from the early 1970s until 1999, when she moved to Southern California.

Ms. Rucker was a member of the Oakdale Country Club, and Oakdale Ladies Golf Association, and the Hole-In-One Club.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
