Frank S. Gallegos, 69, died Wednesday, May 19 at Oak Valley Hospital.

He was a native of Texas and lived in Oakdale for six years.

Mr. Gallegos had worked as a machinist for 30 years.

He is survived by his children, Jeannie Sanchez, Freddie Gallegos, Daniel Gallegos, all of Oakdale, Frank Gallegos, Jr. of Salinas; sisters, Felista Gallegos of Salinas, Diana Rodriguez of Nebraska, Mary Rodriguez of Texas; brothers, Eusebio Gallegos, Jr. of Wisconsin, Conelio Gallegos of Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation and a rosary were held May 24 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Mass was held May 25 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
