Edward ‘Wayne’ Albright, 56, died Wednesday, Feb. 12 in Albuquerque, N.M. after a three-week battle with H1N1 influenza.
He worked for A.L. Gilbert for 20 years and was a Mini Sprint Car owner and a real racing enthusiast.
Mr. Albright was a man who anyone would want as a friend. He made everyone want to be a better person. He would do anything for anybody, friend or stranger.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Judi Albright of Oakdale; son, Dakota Albright of Turlock; stepsons, Jon Aguiar of Pioneer, David Aguiar of Oakdale; sister, Donna Pierson of Oakdale; brother, Benny Albright of Lexington, Mo.; three grandsons; nephews; and one niece.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Burial to follow at Citizens Cemetery, Oakdale.
