Deborah Suzanne ‘Debi’ Stone, 50, died Thursday, June 21.

She was born in Long Beach and lived in various locations in California before moving to Phoenix, Ariz. where she attended Corona del Sol High School.

Mrs. Stone and her husband moved to Oakdale in 1988. After 15 years in Oakdale, they returned to Tempe, Ariz. to be closer to her husband’s family, especially his parents, Fred and Phyllis Stone.

She has left a lasting legacy with everyone she encountered.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dan; sons, Brandt (Katie), Taylor, Joel, and Noah; mother, Barbara; father, Marcus; and sister, Diana.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15 at Living Hope Christian Fellowship, Highway 120 and River Road, Oakdale, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Debi Stone Memorial Fund that will support bluegrass programs for youth at Arizona Bluegrass Association, P.O. Box 8139, Glendale AZ 85312-8139.
