Carl Ray Hawkins, Jr., 47, died Saturday, July 6.
He was a native Californian who was born and raised in the Bay Area. He lived his adult life in Pollock Pines and the Oakdale area.
Mr. Hawkins loved family and the outdoors. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, with a witty since of humor. He had an enormous heart, a kind and generous soul, who truly will be missed.
He is survived by his only son, Carl Ray Hawkins III; mother, Kay (Mark) Schneringer; sister, Angel (Rich) Willett; grandchildren, Connor Ray Hawkins and Kaileigh Kaye Hawkins; and nieces and nephew Madeline, McKenzie, and Hunter Willett.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ray Hawkins, Sr.
Private services were held.
