Barbara Anne Gulian-Sauers, 65, died peacefully on Sunday, March 16 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, Hughson after a one-year battle with renal failure.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She briefly lived in Oakdale and was a resident of Las Palmas Estates in Turlock for 15 years.

Ms. Gulian-Sauers was a wonderful woman who always had a quick sense of humor and a smile for anyone she met. She loved to sing and would break into song at any moment. She would literally give people the shoes off her feet if they were in need. She was a person all should strive to be like.

She was a child of God and will be missed.

She had been involved with the International Order of Rainbow for Girls.

She is survived by her children, John Russel Sauers of Pacifica, Dorthey Anne Greenfield of Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Mildred Payette of Casper, Wyo., Ellen Wearin of Oakdale; nieces and nephews, Alisen Payette, Matt Wearin, Morgan Wearin, and Amanda Wearin Stepp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Louise Gulian.

Services will be held at a future date.
